NORTH COVENTRY >> More than 100 people danced in the dark for fitness during a Glow Zumba Party at the Coventry Mall last week.
Zumba is a fitness program that features a variety of dance styles. Adults and children were invited to the mall Friday night to move their bodies to music while wearing glow necklaces and bracelets. To enhance the glow effect, the lights in the mall space were turned down and participants wore neon-colored workout gear.

The free community event was made possible through a partnership between Fit for Life, the Pottstown YMCA, Anytime Fitness, Beyond Fun Fitness and the Coventry Mall. The Zumba party was the last event of a summer fitness series. The Pottstown YMCA and Fit for Life also partnered earlier this summer to organize a Zumba in the Park event, a kids agility course and a morning tai chi class.
