UPPER POTTSGROVE >> Hundreds of families spent Saturday exploring forested trails in the search of Easter eggs.
The Althouse Arboretum had its annual Forest Easter Egg Hunt this weekend. Into the woods children went to find plastic eggs that they exchanged for candy prizes.
Some kids also found toy stuffed rabbits along the trails that they could keep. The fun didn’t stop after the egg hunt. There were a variety of fun activities for children including an egg race, sack raze through a maze, crafts table and more.
The Althouse Arboretum is made possible through a partnership between a nonprofit sustainability organization called Green Allies and Upper Pottsgrove Township. For more information about the arboretum, visit www.facebook.com/althousearboretum.
