POTTSTOWN >> A Light in the Night Safe Zone event was held in Pottstown during the borough’s Halloween trick-or-treating hours on Monday night.
Pottstown fire trucks provided the lighting police made the event safe. Heart of God Family Worship Center hosted the free safe zone activity at a parking lot they own located at the intersection of Beech and York Streets in Pottstown. Light in the Night included “trunk-or-treat” where cars were decorated and kids could visit to receive candy. The event also had free food provided by the Salvation Army, kids Zumba provided by Desiree Heath of Beyond Fun Fitness studio, and more.
